We vehemently denounce Zionist Israel’s interception of the Global Sumud Flotilla by way of military intervention comprising. The Flotilla on its way to Gaza comprises over 40 vessels with 500 participants from more than 44 countries, making it the largest civilian-led convoy of its kind in history. This piratical assault on a peaceful international mission to break Gaza’s illegal blockade once again underscores US-backed Israel’s disregard for international law and flagrant violation of established diplomatic practices. This blockade is a glaring testimony of how Israeli rulers are bent upon killing encircled hapless Gaza people to fulfil the felonious objective of ethnic cleansing.

Earlier also, another Gaza-bound aid ship carrying Greta Thunberg and other prominent human right activists, from the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, was intercepted by Israel in June, with the passengers detained and subsequently deported. This war of attrition on armless innocent hungry civilians of Gaza is unprecedented and beggars any amount of condemnation.
We strongly demand immediate release of the detainees and removal of the most atrocious blockade through muscle-flexing and open up the path of reaching out much needed aid materials including food and medicines to the war-ravaged Gaza people.
